What to book
The private customisable tour is the simplest way to do a north-coast half day: ask for Roça Agostinho Neto, Lagoa Azul and Neves. The full-day guided tour includes plantations, communities and lunch; check with the operator which coast the day covers.
The five-day guided island tour lists the north explicitly, with stops at Praia dos Tamarindos and Lagoa Azul. Scuba diving with the Atlantic Diving Center uses sites off the northern and eastern coasts.

Turtle watches at Morro Peixe are organised by the local conservation project and paid in cash; your hotel or guide can reserve. Snorkel gear is rarely available on the beach — bring your own.
